The Kansas Polymer Research Center at Pittsburg State University offers an exceptional careerDr. Yemul opportunity to work with several world-class polymer scientists on a daily basis. In addition to permanent employment opportunities, we frequently have graduate students or post-docs on three month exchange programs and offer a visiting scientist program for up to one year for work on specific projects.

    We are usually looking for well-disciplined people for full time research in these fields: Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Plastics Chemistry, Analytical Testing, and Laboratory Technicians. Submit your resume by e-mail to Andrew Myers, Sara Riddle, or Dr. Zoran Petrovic.

    The KPRC also employes several PSU undergraduate and graduate students as a supplement to their educational curriculum. Students completing their Masters Degree in Chemistry, Physics, or Plastics Engineering Technology may be eligible for full-time employment for up to one year as their practicum training extension.

    We offer salaries that are competitive in the region. The cost of living, especially housing cost, in Pittsburg is comparatively less than most metro areas. Pittsburg is just 30 miles from Joplin, and is centrally located between the larger cities of Kansas City, Tulsa, and   Springfield, Mo.
