Small Business Development Center
Pitt State's Kansas Small Business Development Center is an invaluable resource for businesses in Southeast Kansas, providing free, confidential counseling and support to entrepreneurs and small-business owners throughout the region.
Pitt State's SBDC has assisted a diverse range of clients in recent years, providing services that include market research, help with financial planning, guidance on advertising and marketing strategy, and the development of business plans.
The center also sponsors workshops on such topics as how to launch your own business, e-business, Internet marketing, and international trade.
Pitt State's SBDC is one of 14 centers statewide, all of which are part of the national Small Business Development Centers program. The center is funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Kansas Department of Commerce.
